The GF Signet 2551 Magmeter is an insertion style magnetic flow sensor without any moving parts. All versions of the 2551 are constructed of corrosion-resistant materials to provide long-term reliability with minimal maintenance costs. Utilizing the comprehensive line of GF Signet installation fittings, sensor alignment and insertion depth of the 2551 is automatic.These versatile, simple-to-install 2551 deliver repeatable flow measurement over a wide dynamic range in pipe sizes ranging from DN15 to DN200 (0.5 to 8 inches), satisfying the requirements of many diverse applications.The 2551 offer three output options for use with GF Signet flow instrumentation using a frequency or digital (S³L) sensor output. The 4-20mA output can be used for a direct input to PLCs, chart recorders, etc. Both the 4-20mA output and digital (S³L) sensor interface are available for long distance signal transmission of up to 1,000 ft. The GF Signet 2551 with a built-in display can be used for permanent and resettable total. The display contains multi-languages with English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Portuguese menu options.The 2551's empty pipe detection features a zero flow output when the sensors are not completely wetted. The frequency output is bi-directional while the 4-20mA output can be set for uni- or bi-directional flow.

GF Signet installation fittings are designed to secure insertion style flow sensors into position and control the position of paddlewheels and electrodes in relation to the dimensions of the pipe. Use the proper fitting for your system to obtain the best results.
Metalex fittings are only for use with Metalex flow sensors.

The GF Signet 9900 Relay Module adds two programmable dry-contact relays. The open collector output in the 9900 base unit uses the Relay 1 setting. The Relay Module is assigned to relays 2 and 3 in the menus.
